Qualifications and Experience
I have an M.A. in International Journalism and have written for various media such as newspapers and corporate communications before diving into fiction. I've held a book reading for high school student volunteers at GSSYA, a non-profit empowering youth from diverse backgrounds to develop their leadership skills. I've also worked with elementary school students for a research project called the Farm to School program, a national initiative designed to improve student nutrition, and used to volunteer for an after-school program for inner city children. I currently hold monthly writing workshops with On Task Studio, working with aspiring authors to improve their craft.
